Redefining Harvey Thorneycroft Ltd's online presence

HTL lofi review

A project by Evident group: Harvey Thorneycroft Ltd (HTL) are a company known for energising business audiences through remarkable live events, coaching, and powerful storytelling from top-tier speakers. HTL had grown and evolved but their website hadn’t kept up. As the business expanded into leadership coaching and broader strategic impact, the site no longer reflected the full scope or depth of what they offered. It was time to build a site that matched their ambition and reflected the clarity of their offering.

Key challenges

HTL are not a “speaker hire” agency and the website was missing the wider transformation they offered.

  • The speaker listings were hard to maintain and often outdated.

  • The coaching arm of the business was almost invisible.

  • The site lacked a clear brand identity and a structure that reflected HTL’s real value.

Our role

As part of the team at Evident, my work began with stakeholder and client interviews through to lofi and hifi design.

Discovery and research

We started by speaking with HTL’s leadership team, speakers and former clients. Their words revealed a consistent theme: HTL don't just book speakers. They build experiences that change perspectives and solve the needs of their clients.

That insight shaped everything.

We created mood boards to align visually with brands that captured HTL’s energy, bold, trusted, and human. We then prototyped key interactions and visuals in low fidelity to invite early feedback.

Brand direction

We grounded the new brand in something deeply authentic: Harvey’s history as a professional rugby player. The new colour palette subtly reflects his team’s heritage, anchoring the brand in confidence and performance.

Custom typography and a bold new logo gave HTL a modern, credible edge, fit for boardrooms and arenas alike.

Design solutions

  • Simplified architecture: We stripped back the site to focus on core offerings – Events and Coaching – with clear user flows for each.

  • Less admin: We removed the need to list every speaker, instead spotlighting a few with real-world video stories.

  • Future-ready: The site is now easy to update and ready to grow — with space for new content types like short-form video and social media integration.

Outcome

  • The new website positions HTL not just as curators of great events, but as partners in transformation.

  • It’s clear, confident, and inspiring just like the work they do.
